We have a new Blue, Yay!
At the Chemical Lab of the Oregon State University, a professor of material science discovers a new Blue Pigment by accident.
This might not look like a big deal, but it is. According to research, new types of inorganic (non-natural) pigments are not easy to find. Current Blue pigments are obtained from Lapiz Lazuli, wich has to be mined and it’s not an easy task. The other one is trough a mix of cobalt and aluminium oxides, being cobalt toxic if ingested.
