Who doesn’t love the 80’s, that time where car’s used to talk, help you travel in time, so you could ride an hover-board and fight the bad guys. I love the 80’s and all that cheesy one off lines, on the age where computers where a luxury.
This is where Kung Fury comes in, this a short film with all that and even more, the best of the 80’s in a 30 minute short. This a story about a renegade cop that travels back in time to fight the ultimate criminal, none other than Hitler himself, and it’s stuffed with references and hints from the past, that will make cry and laugh at the same time. This brought back old memories for me, where tape was the king and the best social network was the corner Arcade Saloon.
This production was backed with the help of Kickstarter campaign and was success. And there more, one of the amazing soundtracks was actually performed by no other than David Hasselhoff one the 80’s biggest icons.
