Allegorithmic announces Substance Academy
Allegorithmic the company behind Substance Designer and Substance Painter, just announced Substance Academy. For those who don’t know, Substance Painter is a package that allows you to paint and texturing 3D models, it’s PBR base, letting you paint and texture AO maps, reflections and normals separately. It supports the major game engines like Unreal and Unity and can also export to platforms like Artstation and Sketchfab. Overall it’s a great tool for texture, especially for game artists.
Substance Academy is a learning platform for Substance, here you can find courses, video tutorials and in-depth documentation. Topics range from PBR texturing to the use of Substance Painter tools and you can find tutorials for any level learners, from beginners to advanced level.
